It's official...I'm monogram crazy! I got the pins in for the BM's flowers. They are adorable, a little bit smaller than I thought, but they will be so cute!!! Now I've decided to buy all of my hosteses for my showers monogrammed umbrellas. If you haven't seen this, they are to die for!!! My only problem, I have 12 hostesses for one shower, so it kinda got expensive..but in the scheme of it all who cares!!! Here is a picture of what the umbrellas look like...
Aren't thos just the cutest? I have the idea of making a card that says...I loved my shower, I hope with this you can enjoy your next "shower". I am still trying to work on the words. I will have another shower this summer and for those hostess gifts, I'm going to do shower caddy's filled with monogrammed soap and monogrammed hand towels. It is the same idea of "shower" but in a different sense! I think it's cute, but after the wedding is over with, I am sure I will not want to see anymore monogrammed things for a while!
I have tried and tried to think of things to get the groomsmen, but Mr. Priss has assured me that he will take care of it...I guess we will see! I am assuming that it will be along the same lines as everything else monogrammed in our wedding, however it will be a flask or something in the same family.
Well I must get back to all of the monogram love that I have. I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day and have a wonderful week!
Em out!

Who Knew...
Who knew that getting married or planning the wedding would bring so much pressure on the relationship. Well I guess I knew that but it has started for me! Not only are we having problems scheduling wedding showers, we are trying to decide on engagement photos, and looking for a house. Now talk about stress..house huniting is crazy! I find things I like then Mr. Priss decides it's too expensive or we don't need to go "that route". Wow! I think I need a crazy pill!!
On top of the house hunting, the engagement pics are about to make me pull my hair out. I need to know what to wear, how to pose, and "does this hairstyle slim my face". I think everyone around me is saying..wow she needs to chill. But for now I resign to the fact that all the chaios in my life just makes me push harder. I do however need some ideas on cute engagement outfits...anyone have ideas? Here's what I got so far....
This is a casual outfit. The top is burnt orange instead of cream but I couldn't find a picture of the orange one.

The denim dress is different in the top due to it coming off the shoulders, but the shoes and necklace are the same.
I just need to know what everyone thinks and if yall have any other suggestions.

Bridesmaids are Done!!!
OK so I have been trying to find the "perfect" gift for my BM. And I think I have found them and I have completed everything that I am getting them. I still have to have the main gift monogrammed but other than that they are done. I cannot wait to see thier faces when they see what I got them. I'm going with a "Spa" theme so it will be great.
I also found the rhinestone pins I was looking for the last time I blogged. They are adorable and were really cheap ($2.50 a piece). I really think that they will love love love this idea. I mean..I do, so who wouldn't! ;)
This week I decided that I HAD to get the passports done. I know that "they" say it only takes 6 weeks to get it in, but I'm not taking any chances. I cannot wait to go to Saint Thomas so Mr. Priss and I are going to go ahead and apply. Well so I thought... First it is easier if you do your application online and then print it off. So we did that, made sure everything was correct and printed it off. Second you have to have your pictures made and ready if the passport site does not take the picture for you. I took my own picture with the delay button on the camera and posed my self so I looked less pudgy and more travel ready (I know crazy huh)! Then I took Mr. Priss' and he did not even care about how he looked! I took the pictures to Wally World and printed them off passport size. Third...I was going to take them during my lunch break and send them off. Well did you know that you have to apply in person?! Mr. Priss is going to have to take off and get everything ready to send off. This has been a long process and it's getting longer because we just found out he can't find his original birth certificate...wow crazyness...I know!!!
I am feeling a little down though. I feel like everything is spinning out of control and going so fast I can't catch my breath. I write on here ideas about the wedding and it seems to calm me down; however, I don't think anyone is reading it so what's the point. I know I have until November to get everything done, but I am so worried that I'll run out of time and forget something. AHHH! Well until that happens I'll just keep writing along and hoping for the best.

Too much to do!
As I sit here at work, slightly bored...I am thinking of all the things that need to be done for the wedding. I ordered my bridesmaid happies today from a great site. http://www.blanksbyrequest.com/ This is a place where you can get all kind of monogramable (is that even a word) goodies. Tanja, who emailed me back and forth, was wonderful! She helped me out so much!! If you need anything for your wedding this is the site to go to!!!
But alas, I still have to get a million things. At the moment I am looking for rhinestone initial pins to put on my bm bouquets. I saw this idea on some site and fell in love with it!
Is this not the cutest idea ever?! But I can't find where I can buy 10 of these for a smaller price! If anyone is reading this and can help me out...please do!!! :)
I have only one more BM to fit and then I can place my order for the BM dresses. I really love them!!! They are by the Dessy Group and I found them at Low's Bridal in Brinkley, AR. Here is the picture of them:
My color is expresso and this is black but you get the picture!
I also found my dress there, but seeing as Mr. Priss might check this blog...I'll save the picture for that until the wedding!
Here's hoping you have a great Thursday and are planning a killer weekend! Em out!

Welcome Yall'
Hey Yall! I just wandered into the world of blogging and found it absolutely fabulous!!! I really love how you can express yourself and have others agree with you! I think the title of my blog fits me to a T! I am, and have always been called, a "priss" or "prissy-pot". I like things done the good-ole southern way and am not above pitching a fit to get it! ;) I really have a lot going on in my life right now. I just started the greatest job in the world in August, moved out on my own, and got engaged in March. I am now in the middle of planning a wedding and trying to find a place to live with the future Mr. Priss! I hope everyone enjoys reading my posts: pull up a lawn chair, grab a glass of sweet tea, and enjoy the show!!!
